Information for Voters
The next municipal election will be held on Monday, October 18th, 2021.
To be eligible to vote, you must be:
- At least 18 years old
- A Canadian citizen
- A resident of the County of Barrhead in Alberta on Election Day

ADVANCE VOTE will take place on Saturday OCTOBER 16, 2021 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
at the County of Barrhead Administration Building (5306 49 Street).
REGULAR VOTING will take place on Monday OCTOBER 18, 2021 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Requirements
In order to vote in the upcoming municipal election, voters will be required to provide proof of their name and home address. The following types of verification meet the standard provincial requirement for one piece of identification.
