Throughout the year, the County of Barrhead hosts many workshops & webinars on important topics to rural landowners.

Preserving a healthy environment is key to agricultural success. An Environmental Farm Plan (EFP) will help you identify and address environmental risks in your operation.
Set up for success:
An EFP can help you:
- Recognize environmental risks in your farm
- Increase understanding of legal requirements related to environmental issues
- Increase operational efficiency & reduce farm costs
- Show the public, government, and investors that you are managing your environmental risks
Having an EFP is becoming more and more frequently required by commodity groups, AFSC, or other funding providers. By starting the process now, you can lessen the likelihood of missing funding and set yourself up to take advantage of opportunities as soon as they become available.
At this workshop:
Join this workshop for assistance with completing your EFP. We will also be providing information on new funding available through the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (SCAP) and Resilient Agricultural Landscapes Program (RALP).
EFP information provided at this workshop will be kept confidential. EFP renewal is not required for 10 years.
