2026 Dust Control Applications OPEN on April 1, 2026.
The County of Barrhead offers seasonal dust control (MG30) to residents at a subsidized rate. Residents can apply for dust control at the following rates:
$1.50 per lineal foot plus GST
Minimum application: 400 lineal feet
Maximum application: 1,000 lineal feet
Applications & Payment
To apply for seasonal dust control, complete the dust control application form (forms will be accepted after April 1, 2026). Dust control applications will be accepted until 4:30 PM on May 1, 2026.
Payment can be made at the County of Barrhead office via cash, cheque, debit, or e-transfer to payments@countybarrhead.ab.ca.
Please note that the County reserves the right to maintain all sections of road as required, including sections with dust control.
