BARCC Connect Wins AUMA Sustainability in Collaboration Award 

Barrhead, August 10, 2020 – On behalf of Barrhead & Area Regional Crime Coalition (BARCC), the Town of Barrhead has received the AUMA Sustainability in Collaboration Award.
 
The sustainability in Collaboration Award recognizes a group of two or more municipalities which have demonstrated excellence in collaboration, implementing sustainability initiatives and achieving measurable outcomes in specified dimension of sustainability that rotates each year.
 
"Congratulations on behalf of the AUMA Board of Directors. The Town of Barrhead was selected for recognition of the Barrhead & Area Regional Crime Coalition Connect, a system for municipalities and local RCMPs to send out accurate, real-time information from a credible source to regional residents.  I am pleased that the Town of Barrhead has been chosen to receive the prestigious AUMA Sustainability in Collaboration Award" wrote AUMA president, Mayor Barry Morishita.
