Public
Public schools at Barrhead Elementary (K-6), Barrhead Composite
High School (7-12). Schools are located in Barrhead (K-12), Neerlandia
(K-12), Meadowview (K-6) and Dunstable (K-6). French Immersion is
available from Kindergarten to Grade 9 in Barrhead. Also, Neerlandia
School, located in Neerlandia, is a publicly-funded school based
on biblical principles.

Distance Delivery
The
Alberta Distance Learning Centre
(ADLC) located in the Town of Barrhead, provides
effective, successful, and specialized distance learning
opportunities. ADLC is a world leader in the delivery of distance
learning programs to students in Grades 1 to 12. Distance
education is offered in print, online, and blended formats. ADLC
is a provincially-funded school serving students and schools
throughout Alberta, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut, as
well as students around the globe who wish to pursue their
education using the Alberta Program of Studies.
Post-Secondary Education
The Community Access Point for Northern
Lakes College is also located in Barrhead at the Business &
Education Link, in the Mall. Courses are also offered for Adult
Learning, including Computer Skills, General Interest and Safety
Tickets such as First Aid.
